Making predictions

This week we have been scientists. We wanted to find out where the windiest place in our school was. We took windmills and plastic bags to our 3 places; in the outdoor classroom, by the trees and in the middle of the playground. We have learnt that scientists make predictions before carrying out experiments so we made our own. Some of us thought it would be windiest by the trees because the leaves cause a bit of an extra breeze. Some of us thought it would be windiest in the middle of the playground because there is no shelter. Take a look at us carrying out our experiments.mail
Well done to our award winners: Nyla for her great maths stories; Lewis for saying thank you for his Christmas cards without being asked; Lily for her lovely character description of Mr Bear and Iona for describing how Advent wreaths help us wait for Christmas.
Have a lovely weekend.
