The Priory Catholic Voluntary Academy

A place to learn, have fun, grow and develop in the light and love of Christ

Thank you Iona class for all your fantastic work this week. In data and measure, we have begun learning about centimetres. We began measuring objects using a 15cm ruler and at the end of our lesson we took our rulers outside and measured some fallen leaves. The smallest leaf was 2cm found by Lily. We even found some too long to measure with the rulers we had so we thought of other ways to measure it.
We enjoyed a fun afternoon on Friday for winning the attendance prize last half term.
Well done to our award winner. Ruby is our mathematician of the week for her great x work. James received the courtesy award for being helpful in class and caring for others. Eleanor was our star writer for her recount work with time connectives and Frank received the good work award for his huge effort with his handwriting this week.
Have a great weekend practising your Nativity songs.
