Eco Clubs trip out to Colliers wood

It was a gorgeous day and we all were well prepared with sun hats and sun block and headed off on our walk to Colliers Wood. We found a nice footpath with lovely field views, cherry trees and lots of wildlife to find on our way to the woods. When we got there all of Eco club enjoyed relaxing in the shade, pond dipping, refreshments, blindfolded fun, using pooters to hunt for bugs in the trees and grass.

We had a surprise visit from Mrs Brough with choc ices - yummy - and thanks to Miss Pike who came with us on the day.

Mrs Poulson arranged for us to finish our trip at Reuben Shaws Cafe for lovely cold juice and homemade cookies.

Thanks to Colliers wood and Durban House for allowing us to use the Nature box and pond dipping nets.
