Welcome a new year and to Spring 1!

 

We hope you're excited for a great half term ahead. Have a look at what we have been doing.

 

In this half term we are learning about: 

  • Come and See - our topics include Mission - continuing Jesus's mission in our diocese and Memorial Sacrifice - the Eucharist - the living memorial of Jesus's sacrifice 
  • Literacy - Novels by Significant Children's Authors - Wonder and Explanation Texts
  • Maths - following our White Rose scheme 
  • Science - Properties and Changes of Materials 
  • Geography - North America
  • Art - Picasso and Digital Media 
  • Computing - Questionnaires
  • Music - delivered by outside providers where the children will each get an instrument to learn 
  • French - numbers, opinions, conversations and food
  • PE - two lessons a week with Mr Cannon - Monday and Thursday
  • PSHE - Statements to live by:
    • We are all special
    • I cooperate with others in work and play
    • I know we are happiest when we are united
    • I listen to what you say I show that I am listening to you
    • I understand what trust means
