Welcome back to Autumn 2!

 

We hope you're excited for a busy half term ahead in the lead up to Christmas. Have a look at what we have been doing.

 

In this half term we are learning about: 

  • Come and See - our topics include continuing Life Choices, learning about Jewish Festivals and then Hope
  • Literacy - classic narrative poems and film narratives
  • Maths - following our White Rose scheme 
  • Science - Earth and Space 
  • History - The Stone Age
  • Art - we are going to explore the work of Paul Cezanne
  • Music - delivered by outside providers where the children will each get an instrument to learn 
  • French - opinions, hobbies, tenses and Christmas themes 
  • PE - two lessons a week with Mr Cannon - Monday and Thursday
  • PSHE - Statements to live by:
    • I try to stand up for myself and others without hurting people.
    • I try to be just and fair.
    • I can recognise comfortable and uncomfortable feelings.
    • I know how to help others when they are in trouble.
    • I can work, play, rest and pray each day.
    • Simple things can make us happy.
