Science and DT help – 3.5.19

 

For this upcoming term we ask for your help. Could you bring in any toilet roll or kitchen tubes to help us build our own torches in DT. You can also bring in any jars, bottles, rolls or pringles tubes which you may think are also useful. We also ask if anyone has any powerful or strong torches we can borrow and use throughout this project and then return to you at the end of the half term.

Easter Arrangements

 

During the last week of this half term Y3 and 4 will be performing the Easter play. Please practise this at home. Performances to parents and grandparents will be Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th.

 

We also have an Easter Fair on Friday 12th April. 

 

The school will also be having an Easter bonnet parade during next Fridays celebration assembly on 5th April and the day will also be non uniform.

Christmas Party and Sing for Santa 

 

Our Christmas party this year is on the 19th December, this is the same day as our Christmas lunch. On this day all children are invited to wear a Christmas jumper and this can be part of your party outfit. As our Christmas party is on the afternoon on the same day as our Christmas lunch, we ask you bring a small bag of sweets or a snack you may want to eat during our party afternoon – this doesn’t need to be much as we also have many activities planned. You may also want to bring any Santa hats, reindeer ears or any Christmas headband boppers to make us look as festive as possible.

 

I am also encouraging the class for Friday afternoon to bring a Christmas jumper and any head wear to change into for our Sing for Santa performance. If you chose to do this please remember to bring it to school and ensure you are still wearing school uniform as we will change into them in the afternoon.
